Joker's Wild

My firend Chris picked this design- nose art from the plane his Grandfather flew in- and we finished it up last night! I feel like it made a really nice tattoo, but even more so than that, I appreciate the sentiment: a great image from a time where great people stood up against real tyranny. Folks from our generation only know of this mentality from lore, and this is, in more than one way, a piece of that lore. I'm not one to linger much in the past or yearn to move backwards in time, but I earnestly feel that we can all learn a thing or ten from our Father's Fathers, and Mother's Mothers.

A Lady, a Tiger, and the other kind of Beast...

Here are a couple from the past week. Lady-eating Tiger on Dan. Baphomet on Josh. Growling ensues!

New Addition!

Jason has finished the right rib panel of his Japanese body suit- a Tiger climbing down through molten rock and fire. Each time I work on this project, I feel humbled with gratitude for the opportunity- and for Jason's tolerance and persistence! This is what makes Tattooing great!

Oni Tattoo!

Heres a fun one: a Japanese demon, or Oni, with a lopped of horn! Was it lost in an epic battle with some brave Samurai? Was it removed as a self-inflicted act of penance or redemption? Only the wearer may truly know...

Tyler's in town!

Our good buddy Tyler Borich will be in town for the next two weeks doing sweet tattoos. If you'd like one of his fine works of tattoo craftsmanship to wear as your own, give the shop a call or, better yet, stop by and see him! He is filling in for Nick B., who is taking a vacation- so, Bon Voyage, Nick!

Shark Tattoos are cool!

Here's a Shark that I tattooed on Chris. I'd like to take it one step further next time and do a Sharkticorn. Not many people know this, but they were once the mystic defenders of the secrets of Lightning Magic!

Daily Bangers

I've been getting more requests for drawings in a classic tattoo style, which is awesome! Here are four that I've done in the past week-or-so. The soccer ball is on my neighbor from back-in-the-day, and future soccer star, Elle. Natalia picked a sweet anchor with forget-me-nots. Ashley picked a design dedicated to her family, with a high heel for Mom, and a hammer for Pops. Lastly, Chris picked yet another winner with his lighthouse tattoo. Thanks, guys- you're great!!
